Culture Travel for U.S. Students

CEC operates a China travel program for U.S. students. These trips are 10−12 days in duration and are organized to take place during school breaks in fall, spring, and summer. More than travel tours, CEC trips involve cultural immersion into Chinese life through stays with host families and participation in Chinese schools.

Internships in China

The Chinese Education Connection is able to place U. S. college students in internships in China. This is a wonderful résumé builder and will enhance your employability once you graduate. CEC maintains relationships with Chinese companies (including Ali Baba) and American companies with Chinese offices or plants.

For Teachers:

The Chinese Education Connection provides a limited number of travel scholarships to teachers who wish to participate in one of CEC’s summer programs. 


For Students:

The Chinese Education Connection provides a limited number of student grants to assist with travel expenses for those who are traveling to China with a school group.

Hoosier Classroom

The Hoosier Classroom is a 60−90 day program during which Chinese students attend a public or private school in Indiana. Chinese students, aged 11−14 may participate in the program. Students are screened and recommended by their school principals and travel to the U.S. on a tourist visa.

High School Study for Chinese Students

Chinese students who are considering attendance at a U.S. college or university will want to participate in CEC’s student exchange program. CEC can place students in either public or private schools in locations throughout the state of Indiana.

School Experience Program for Chinese Students

Chinese students who are considering study in the U.S. may want to give it a try before making their decision. CEC offers students the opportunity to attend a U.S. high school for two to three weeks. Stay with a host family, improve your English, and learn American culture firsthand.
